Belts are a type of containers that can only hold specific items. They are to not be confused with belt slot of character's inventory. Belts that exist in the game are:

Screwdriver - any colour
Welding tool - this does not include upgraded and experimental welding tools
Wirecutters
Wrench
Multitool
Flashlight - includes penlight and seclite
Cable coil - any colour
T-ray scanner
Analyzer - includes plant analyzer
Medical belt
Can hold various medical equipment.
Can hold:
Health analyzer- DNA injector
Dropper
Beaker - any type
Bottle
Pill
Syringe- Zippo lighter
- Cigarette pack - but not cigarettes themselves
- Pill bottle
Bruise pack
Ointment
